Mackenzie Kerper was diagnosed with end-stage renal disease as a teen and wasn’t able to relate the experience with anyone until she found NW Kidney Kids 10 years later. With her degree in Health Education and other job experience, she moved into her current role. She has a BS in Health Education and plenty of experience creating programs for kids and youth.

Maggie MacKenzie graduated college in 2018 with a BS in Communications. She uses this to promote and create events for NW Kidney Kids. She found a connection to the organization after being diagnosed with end-stage renal disease in April 2018 and receiving a transplant in 2020. She loves to put on big fundraising events that help the community that she loves and appreciates all of the support she has received from the Northwest Kidney Kids family!

Maggie MacKenzie se graduó de la universidad en 2018 con una licenciatura en Comunicaciones. Utiliza esto para promover y crear eventos para NW Kidney Kids. Encontró una conexión con la organización después de que le diagnosticaran una Enfermedad Renal en Etapa Final en abril de 2018 y recibio un trasplante en el 2020. Our dedicated volunteer leaders work closely with our staff and board to plan and deliver impactful programs for families and youth affected by kidney disease. They help organize camps, coordinate events, and initiate various activities, ensuring that each experience we offer is meaningful, supportive, and unforgettable. Their commitment drives our mission forward and makes a lasting difference in our community.
