- Family Camp starts at 2 pm on Friday, August 15, 2014 and ends after lunch on Sunday, August 17, 2014.

- Family Camp is for children (birth - 18 years old or still in high school) with end stage renal failure (on dialysis, with transplant, or has been referred to transplant) and their immediate family.

- Children must come with at least one parent/guardian.

- Space is limited. The first round of registration will only be open to children (birth - 18 years old or still in high school) and their immediate family who lives in Oregon and SW Washington. (SW Washington includes Cowlitz County & Clark County)

- On June 15th, we will open registration for families outside of Oregon and SW Washington (outside Cowlitz & Clark Counties). You can fill out the registration form at this time but note that it doesn't guarantee you a space at camp. Camp Director, Erica Soto will contact you if we have room in our 2014 Family Camp as we open up registration.

- As of right now we are not anticipating there will be room for families that have been to camp in the past and their child is over 18 and graduated high school. We do have some junior counselor roles available and if a young adult with chronic kidney disease is interested they should contact Erica.

2014 Camp Dates
We are happy to announce that 2014 Camp Dates have been secured!

Teen Camp August 12 - 15, 2014
Aldersgate Retreat Center, Turner, Oregon

Teen Kidney Camp is being expanded from three to four days in 2014. It is exclusively for teens, ages 14-18 (or older if still in high school). Teens and young adults learn to build independence and self-esteem, while educators, physicians and social workers provide them with seminars on health related self-management skills. The training they receive at Teen Kidney Camp is critical in helping to ensure that they keep their transplants and adhere to life with kidney disease. Teen Camp is limited to 20 youth for 2014.

Family Camp August 15-17, 2014
Aldersgate Retreat Center, Turner, Oregon

Family Kidney Camp is for children with chronic kidney disease (either on dialysis or having had a transplant) and their family members. Family Kidney Camp addresses the unmet need of providing no-cost education and emotional support services to children with kidney disease and their family members. For many families, Kidney Camp is their only opportunity to connect with other children having a similar experience and access education specific to kidney disease. Participants receive support and information from professionals who understand the challenges associated with kidney disease and both children and parents offer meaningful support to one another. This is especially important to children who are new to kidney disease.
2014 Family Camp is limited to 150 people.

Registration will open in April 2014 for Oregon and SW Washington residents. To make sure you don't miss out on registering please fill out the Family Information Form.
